2024 is already shaping up to be a promising year for crypto.

We're excited to unveil what's in store for StormX, a project made possible by our passionate and dedicated user base and talented, hardworking team.

The 2024 StormX Product Roadmap is setting the tone for the year ahead, and we're thrilled to present our plans for the next quarter.

We also want to announce that from now on, we will publish updates to our Product Roadmap quarterly.

Q1: Laying the Foundations for the Year

STMX & ATH L2 Token Launch

Brace yourselves for our Layer 2 token integration, a significant step towards faster and more efficient transactions.

The team is actively exploring the expansion of the STMX and ATH tokens. This integration brings the benefit of reduced gas fees lowering transaction fees when staking. Also, it demonstrates that we're committed to growing both tokens.

We're not removing the existing ERC20 tokens for STMX and ATH. Instead, we introduce STMX, ATH tokens, and staking contracts on a selected Layer 2 chain.

You will decide whether to swap or keep your Layer 1 tokens; automatic conversions will not occur.

Keep an eye out for our new L2 token!

Web Withdrawals

Experience the ease of withdrawals from our web platform, enhancing your StormX shopping experience.

We are adding the option to withdraw shopping and staking rewards into your wallet through the web, making it more convenient for you.

This is part of our ongoing effort to make the StormX website the go-to destination for users who prefer the web platform over the app.

We're also using this upgrade as a tool to attract new users. As we maintain momentum in improving the web platform, we will enable users to complete their registration quickly via the StormX website.

This update is all about making your experience smoother and more user-friendly. So, we are not stopping with withdrawals.

You'll also be able to go straight from web shopping to the staking Dapp. Everything currently available on the app, including the leaderboard and the ability to buy cryptocurrency, will soon be accessible on the web platform.

Improved Automated Reward Processing

2024 has us looking to improve the Crypto Cashback Reward Processing. These changes will come into effect within the next couple of months.

There are issues here as rewards rely on our merchant partners, but occasionally StormX Crypto Cashback is paid to users before the partners confirm the purchase.

This leads to a long delay for users to get their rewards typically anywhere beyond 90 days.

StormX faces losses if rewards are awarded when non-eligible items are purchased, purchases are returned, or if there are partner delays.

Looking ahead, StormX will change to an automated payout system, where users receive their rewards as soon as the partner confirms the purchase. StormX, eliminating any wait time and reducing revenue loss.

Sports Product

This quarter, we are opening the beta to the public. Until now, only existing users who signed up before 11th December 2023 had access to our peer-to-peer prediction marketplace. Now, everyone can join and place wagers on NFL games. We started with NFL games and plan to add more sports, with basketball up next. We're also returning to NCAA - March Madness in March 2024.

You've already tried the free-to-play Pick 'em Pools, where you choose winning teams each week. We've adapted the Week game to the peer-to-peer model, allowing 1v1 or public participation. But this quarter, we're excited to introduce THREE new game formats: Game, Team, and Player.

Each format offers unique challenges. On launch, we will present five challenges across these three formats. In the Game format, you'll find three challenges based on the outcomes of individual games. The Team format focuses on challenges related to the team you choose. Finally, in the Player format, you'll encounter challenges centered around a specific player from your selected team.

We'll provide more details on these sports game formats and challenges at a later time.
