Play Tasks Official Sunset

It's finally time to officially sunset the Play Tasks feature. This has been an amazing feature that propelled Storm(X) into becoming the platform it is today - a global Crypto Cashback leader. However, with all the priorities and the new debit card launch on the horizon, it is important for the team to stay focused.

As we wave farewell to the functionality which started it all, we’d like to thank all of our Play users that have been with us since the beginning, when StormX was Storm, and the main use case of our mobile app was completing microtasks in return for micro Crypto Cashback rewards.

We sunset this with a heavy heart, reminiscing of the days that were. After all, it was Play that inspired the idea of Crypto Cashback rewards for online shopping and our mission of making cryptocurrencies as accessible and easy to acquire as possible.

We originally gave notice of this feature being turned off about a year ago and decided to let it naturally come to a close. For those users that are still using Play Tasks, you can continue to earn crypto Cashback by shopping with StormX and eventually by using the soon to come debit card. Everyone else on the platform will remain unaffected as this feature had low visibility in the app for the past year.

As for the debit card and governance features, stay tuned for more updates as these will be coming shortly :) A lot has, is, and is going to be happening!
